Happy Mardi Gras!

just a quick entry to say happy mardi gras y'all and share a few random pics of the day.

first, we started off with a local favorite...the fasnacht.


and later we went to the home of some wonderful friends to share the king cake we had baked.

the kids had a wonderful time making masks, eating pizza and dressing up.


tomorrow we put away all the revelry and begin the lenten journey. may it be a fruitful one full of growth.
